1. Initial Setup & FERPA
-
Log In: Open your school portal and click the Blue SCOIR icon. You must log in through the school portal, not the direct Scoir website.
-
Sign the FERPA: If prompted, click Complete your profile to sign your FERPA release. This allows us to send your transcripts.
-
Verify Info: Ensure your current email address and contact information are correct. Note: You can leave the Application ID field blank.
2. Building Your "Following" List
3. Moving Colleges to "Applying"
Move a college to this list when you are actively working on the application. This alerts the counseling office to start preparing your transcripts.

Go to your My Colleges dashboard.
-
Locate the school in your Following column.
-
Click and drag the college card into the Applying column (or click the school name and select Move to Applying).
-

Questions
(GPA) Grade Point Average
Each student upon completion of a course receives a GPA based on the grade they receive on a 4.0 grading scale. This can be found on each students unofficial transcript and will appear as two GPAs; Weighted GPA and Unweighted GPA.
Weighted GPA is calculated differently as some classes (Honors, Advanced Placement (AP), some Dual credit) are graded on a 4.5 to 5.0 grading scale.
Here is where you will see you two GPAs on your transcript:
