Welcome

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! I am honored and excited to begin my first year as principal of Hickman High School and to join a school community with such a rich history, strong traditions, and incredible sense of pride.

The theme for this year is Better Together. Hickman Forever. It reflects both who we are and who we want to be. Hickman’s legacy has been built over generations by students, families, educators, alumni, and community members who have each contributed to the story of this school. As we look toward the future, we know that our greatest successes will come when we work together, supporting one another, challenging our students to grow, celebrating their accomplishments, and ensuring that every student knows they belong at Hickman.

This year, we will continue to focus on providing meaningful learning experiences, building strong relationships, encouraging student involvement, and creating a school where students are challenged and supported. We want every Kewpie to find a place to connect, discover opportunities to grow, and leave Hickman prepared for whatever comes next.

Families are an important part of that work. I encourage you to stay connected, ask questions, attend events, celebrate our students, and partner with us throughout the year. Together, we can make 2026–2027 a year our students will remember.

I am proud to be a Kewpie and grateful for the opportunity to serve this community. I look forward to all that we will accomplish together.
